In 1994, Disney's Gargoyles broke the mold of the traditional Disney animated series with a dramatic plot, ethnically diverse cast, and clean, gothic style. It received an unprecedented number of episodes and a devoted fan following.
In June 2006, we gathered again to celebrate the show, returning once more to the City of Angels, Los Angeles, California, the home of Disney and the center of the entertainment industry.
Over 350 people joined us in Valencia, California for the biggest Gargoyles fan convention in history, the Tenth Annual Gathering of the Gargoyles. We had more special guests and events than ever before, and fans from around the world came out to have a blast with other fans of the show, meet the creators, hear the latest news about the DVD and the comic book, and join us in our continuing fight to bring Gargoyles back to the air.
Alas, this year's convention is over. But fear not, loyal Gargoyles fans, for the planning is already in full swing for the Eleventh Annual Gathering of the Gargoyles! Next year's convention will take place June 22nd - 25th in the city of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Pre-registration has already begun, so be sure to visit the Gathering 2007 web site for the complete details.
