The first Gathering Radio Play took place at the second annual Gathering of the Gargoyles in 1998, and it has been a Gathering tradition ever since.  Each year, Greg Weisman chooses a script to be peformed in radio play style, with himself as narrator and a voice cast consisting of numerous fans and The Gathering's voice actor guests.  The Radio Play is your chance to show off your voice acting skills.  Auditions are typically held on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning, with rehearsal on Saturday afternoon and the performance as Saturday's keynote event.  Previous Gathering Radio Plays have featured everything from episodes of the Gargoyles animated series to special previews of other projects that Greg Weisman has been working on.  Last year's Radio Play consisted of Issues 3, 4, and 5 of the new Gargoyles comic book.  A video of that performance is available right here, courtesy of YouTube.
